A coleção do Centro Cultural da Caloura resulta de uma vida dedicada à criação artística e ao intercâmbio cultural do seu fundador, Tomaz Borba Vieira. Reúne obras que vão do século XVII à contemporaneidade, abrangendo diversos suportes, como pintura, escultura, fotografia e serigrafia.
The collection of the Centro Cultural da Caloura stems from a lifetime dedicated to artistic creation and cultural exchange by its founder, Tomaz Borba Vieira. It brings together works ranging from the 17th century to the present, encompassing a wide variety of media, including painting, sculpture, photography and silkscreen printing.

Existe uma transformação silenciosa a acontecer na natureza a cada segundo. Bactérias e leveduras impercetíveis a olho nu trabalham em equipa para mudar sabores, texturas e aromas, revelando que o invisível também ganha forma.
A oficina Culturas do Invisível propõe uma imersão prática e curiosa no universo da fermentação, pensada especialmente para o público infantil. Sob a orientação de Dryelle Andrade e Felipe Oliveira, as crianças serão convidadas a explorar os processos vivos do mundo microbiano, aprendendo a transformar matérias-primas através da observação, do toque e da experimentação.
Uma atividade que cruza ciência, ecologia e criação, estimulando uma nova forma de olhar para o ambiente e para o tempo da natureza.
What the eyes can’t see, we transform!
There is a silent transformation taking place in nature every second. Bacteria and yeasts, invisible to the naked eye, work together to change flavours, textures and aromas, revealing how the invisible can also take shape.
The Cultures of the Invisible workshop offers a hands-on and curious immersion into the world of fermentation, specially designed for children. Led by Dryelle Andrade and Felipe Oliveira, the workshop invites children to explore the living processes of the microbial world, learning how to transform raw materials through observation, touch and experimentation.
An activity that brings together science, ecology and creativity, encouraging a new way of looking at the environment and at the rhythms of nature.
